Jan V. Jensen, M.D. Dr. Jensen began his premedical education from Nebraska Wesleyan and received his medical training from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 1972 where he also performed his Internship and Residency. Dr. Jensen joined Kearney Eye Institute in 1976 and became Board Certified in 1977. Dr. Jensen and his wife have one daughter. |  |
Linda U. Blakely, M.D. Dr. Blakely began her premedical education at the University of Kansas. She received her medical training from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her Residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. Dr. Blakely joined Kearney Eye Institute in 1994 and became Board Certified in 1995. In addition to Kearney, Dr. Blakely travels to satellite clinics in Cozad and Lexington and performs surgery at the local hospitals in these communities. Dr. Blakely is Kearney Eye’s resident expert in LASIK eye surgery using the VISX Star4 Excimer laser and also performs CK procedures. Dr. Blakely travels to satellite clinics in Broken Bow, Cozad and Lexington. Dr. Blakely and her husband have three daughters. |  |
Thomas J. Clinch, M.D. Dr. Clinch began his premedical education at Nebraska Wesleyan. He received his medical training from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his Internship at Naval Medical Center in Virginia and his Residency at Ohio State University. Dr. Clinch joined Kearney Eye Institute in 2002 and became Board Certified in 2003. In addition to Kearney, Dr. Clinch travels to satellite clinics in Lexington, Holdrege and Broken Bow and performs surgery at the local hospitals in these communities. Dr. Clinch travels to satellite clinics in Holdrege, Lexington and McCook. He also performs surgery at local hospitals in these communities and in Cambridge. Dr. Clinch and his wife have three sons and one daughter. |

Jerry Vaughan, O.D.Dr. Vaughan began his preoptometry education at Kearney State College in 1973. He received his Optometric training from Illinois College of Optometry and graduated in 1977. Dr. Vaughan joined Kearney Eye Institute in January of 2008. With over 30 years of optometry experience Dr. Vaughan will perform routine eye exams and prescribe glasses and contact lenses to new and existing patients. Dr. Vaughan is a dry eye specialist and a member of the Ocular Surface Society of Optometry. Dr Vaughan performs SEE TO LEARN visual assessments. He was also named Optometrist of the year in 2009 by the Nebraska Optometric Association. Dr. Vaughan and his wife have 3 sons. |
